Our credit union was created by Hermann Employees in 1980 for employees and their families. Our members collectively own and operate the credit union as a not-for-profit organization.

Who can join Bayou City Federal Credit Union?

  • Employees or volunteers of the Memorial Hermann Healthcare system or one of its subsidiaries.
  • Persons living in the same residence and who maintain a singe economic unit. This includes any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of household, including family members, domestic partners, foster children, and legal guardian relationships. Residents of a fraternity, sorority, or of a nursing home are not considered members of a household.
  • Immediate family of a member of Bayou City FCU. This includes Parent, Grandparent, Spouse, Sibling, Child, Grandchild, Adopted Children, Stepparents, Stepchildren, and Stepsiblings.
  • Persons who live, work, or attend school within the bounded area of: IH 45 S to S Loop 610 W, to S Main, north to IH 45 S..
